Study of "Volantile", this original ink drawing transports us to a poetic imaginary island, where two characters share a moment together on a terrace, flying a kite. The multitude of details in the Mediterranean-inspired architecture, the delicate foliage, and the silhouettes of sailboats in the distance create a soft, lively, and dreamlike visual rhythm. This preparatory sketch bears witness to the graphic research that precedes my work with colours on canvas.
