Study of "Lavueduchat", this original ink drawing invites us to share the curious gaze of a cat perched at the window of a warm, floral interior. Through the windowpanes, the observer dives into the feline's point of view: a picturesque perspective of a typical church tower, a little bird resting on the outside railing, and Mediterranean vegetation. The multitude of details in the cushion patterns, the delicate curtains, and the neat graphic lines of the facades create an intimate, poetic, and lively visual rhythm. This preparatory sketch bears witness to the graphic research that precedes my work with colours on canvas.
