This original ink Study of "La Baie" explores the lines and perspectives of the magnificent view of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat from Villefranche-sur-Mer, where the multitude of architectural details, the silhouette of the clock tower, and the softness of the coastal landscape create a lively and poetic rhythm. This preparatory sketch bears witness to the graphic research that precedes my work with colours on canvas.
